Distinguished Young Woman of Georgia

The 2015 Distinguished Young Woman of Georgia is Sophia Inaba, from Cartersville. Through her participation in our program, Sophia earned 4 separate awards, for a total of $6,200.00 in cash scholarships and the opportunity to advance to the next level of competition.

Sophia's achievements include: Governor's Honors Program • All-State Honor Band, Chorus, Sightreading Chorus • District Honor Band and Chorus • Martha Cline Award (Most Dedicated Band Member) • Girls Trio Region Champion • Girl Soloist Region Champion • Miss Woodland • Highest Average in Honors Biology and Acc. Math I • Most Friendly Band Member (out of 220 members) • Homecoming Court
