David Weincek

David Weincek is a professional actor who resides in New York City.  A theater veteran, David has appeared in leading roles in over 100 stage productions in New York and at major regional theaters across the country.  Film roles include It's Complicated, Baby Mama and The Stepford Wives.   For the past few years, David appeared regularly on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live.  He has been featured in many national commercials, for such companies as IKEA and FedEx, as well as currently appearing in a Citibank print ad campaign.  A graduate of the prestigious New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, David is a dedicated volunteer with the Make A Wish Organization. When not working, he loves to travel, recently spending six weeks touring Australia and Asia.  A dedicated supporter of Distinguished Young Women, David has twice served on the National Finals judges panel. He is excited to be co-hosting the National Finals for his fifth consecutive year.

 

Amy E. Goodman

Amy E. Goodman is a nationally recognized media maven. Her journalistic career as an editor, author, host and lifestyle expert spans magazines, news programs and online media outlets. With quality reporting and a no-nonsense attitude she deftly covers anything and everything, including fashion & beauty, home & entertaining, fitness & family and red carpet. She’s collaborated with countless others such as Marie Claire, Women’s Health, Shape and Latina, and sites like YahooShine.com, TotalBeauty.com, iVillage.com and SheFinds.com. She is currently a style writer for NBC’s LifeGoesStrong.com and an accessories guru for TheBlush.com.

Her fast-selling first book, Wear This, Toss That! (Atria Books, Simon & Schuster), is filled with practical fashion and beauty advice for real women. It débuted on Today and became the number one fashion book on Amazon.com.

Amy is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, a summa cum laude graduate of UCLA and holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. She’s been a long-time supporter of the Distinguished Young Women program since winning the national title in 1991, having served as a judge at the local and state levels and co-hosting the national program for many years. A native of Santa Rosa, CA, she currently resides in the Washington, D.C. area, with her husband and two children.
