Information for Alumnae at National Finals

The 55th Distinguished Young Women National Finals will be held in Mobile, Alabama on June 28, 29, & 30, 2012.

Alumnae Events

  • Alumnae Reunion - June 30, 2012 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm before Finals.  At the Admiral Semmes Hotel "Cove Room" (walking distance to Civic Center Theater).  Food, fun, and a Cash Bar provided.  All past local, state, and national participants are invited to attend.  Please RSVP to Erin@DistinguishedYW.org for catering purposes. 
       
  • 55th National Finals and After-Party - Join us for the 55th National Finals Preliminaries & Finals Night on June 28, 29 & 30, and for the After-Finals Party at the Bienville Club (walking distnace) on June 30.  Please RSVP to the After-Finals Party to Valerie@DistinguishedYW.org for catering purposes. 
       
  • Full Alumnae Registration Package - Alumnae are invited to purchase a registration package to participate in several fun events with our volunteers while they are in Mobile.  Please see the Schedule of Events below for an outline of all events and meals included in this package.

Accommodations

The Admiral Semmes Hotel will serve as the headquarters for Distinguished Young Women Alumnae and state and local representatives.  We have secured a special rate of $109 per night; reservations are on a first come first serve basis and are available from June 26th - June 30th.  You may begin making reservations on April 11, 2012; the deadline to secure rooms at the special rate is May 27, 2012.  To make reservations, please call The Admiral Semmes Hotel (251 Government St; Mobile, AL 36602) at 251-432-8000.   

If you are unable to book rooms at The Admiral Semmes Hotel, we recommend that you use the hotels listed below:
