EMILY ANN TATUM JOINS AJM NATIONAL STAFF
The National Headquarters of AJM is pleased to announce the addition of a new staff member to its team. Emily Ann Tatum joined AJM as Development Director, overseeing all fund development plans and sponsor relations to support the national organization.
Emily Ann graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Public Relations from Auburn University where she served as a Senator for the College of Liberal Arts and was an Auburn University Cheerleader. Upon graduation, Emily Ann joined OnMedia Ad Sales as an Account Executive, and now joins the national staff at AJM.
Emily Ann has remained active with the Junior Miss program since high school when she represented Dale County's Junior Miss and was a finalist in Alabama’s Junior Miss program. She has since served in roles such as emcee, judge, performer, and volunteer.
America’s Junior Miss (AJM) is the nation’s oldest and largest scholarship program for college-bound high school senior women. The program, headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, began in 1958 and has since awarded more than $90 million in college scholarships at the local, state, and national levels. Over 700,000 young women from all over the country have participated in Junior Miss programs. AJM is proud to have the assistance of more than 17,000 volunteers throughout the United States, who help to make the Junior Miss program successful at the local and state levels.
