June 18, 2007 AJM CONTESTANTS TO VISIT BELLINGRATH GARDENS The AJM Class of 2007 will visit Mobile’s famous Bellingrath Gardens on Tuesday morning for a breakfast at 7:45 am. Joining the participants will be the AJM Board of Directors and the 2007 host fathers. The contestants will have the opportunity to tour the gardens and will take their official AJM Class of 2007 photograph. After the breakfast, the Junior Misses will begin their preparations for the 50th Annual National Finals with wardrobe fittings and their first group rehearsal with choreographer Geogio Fagan. The contestants will join the residents of Gordon Oaks Retirement Community for a luau from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday night at Gordon Oaks. The participants will have the opportunity to win a share of $150,000 in scholarships and the title of America’s Junior Miss 2007 at the National Finals on June 28-30. The program will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. June 30 on WPMI-TV 15's Web site, www.nbc15online.com. Major sponsors for 2007 are the City of Mobile, Mobile County, and the Mitchell Company.
