Our 2009 Virginia's Junior Miss is Divya Srinivasan, from Oakhill. In our competition, her performance earned 3 separate awards, for a total of $4,650.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.

Divya's achievements include: Intel Science Talent Search Semifinalist 2009 • National Merit Finalist 2008-2009 • Princeton National Forensics Tournament- 6th seed • National Geographic Jason Project's Finalist 2006 • Virginia Educator's Sonata Festival- Finalist • Mary Smart Virginia State Piano Award- 2nd place • American French Contest- 4th, 5th, 7th places • Indian Dance Educators Association- 1st place • Modern Foreign Language Tournament- 3rd place
