Our 2009 Utah's Junior Miss is Lindsey Brinton, from Salt Lake City. In our competition, her performance earned 6 separate awards, for a total of $7,800.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.

Lindsey's achievements include: 2008 "Top" Sterling Scholar in the State of Utah • First prize winner of the Bartok Int'l Piano Comp • Admitted to Harvard and Stanford; will attend Harv • Miss America's Outstanding Teen, 1st runner-up • Student Body President 2007-08; Jr. Pres. 2006-07 • Prize winner, 4 international piano competitions • Feature dancer in Disney's "High School Musical 3" • West High School's Homecoming Queen • Nat. Leadership Conference on the Arts, Chicago • Cover Girl, The New Era magazine, October 2007

In addition, Lindsey's activities include: Performed a piano recital at Carnegie Hall in NYC • Danced with The Juilliard Summer Dance Program NYC • Danced with The Joffrey Ballet NYC • William R. Hearst U.S. Senate Scholar • Guest Soloist, Young Concert Artists Series, Italy • Lettered, Varsity Basketball and Tennis • Performed with the Utah Valley Symphony Orchestra • AP "Scholar of Distinction" 18 AP and IB courses • Recorded piano CD of music by Liszt, Rachmaninoff • National Honor Society, Key Club, IB Diploma
