Our 2009 Pennsylvania's Junior Miss is Christine Marty, from Sarver. In our competition, her performance earned 4 separate awards, for a total of $5,600.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.

Christine's achievements include: Outstanding Young Citizen Gold Medalist • President of Executive Student Council • Class Secretary - Sophomore year • Class Treasure - Freshman year • Armstrong County Scholar Athlete of the Year 2008 • Approved for final project for Gold Award • Girl Scout Silver and Bronze Awards • Girl Scout Community Service Bar • WPIAL finalist for Track and Cross-County • PMEA County Chorus - 2 years

In addition, Christine's activities include: Dance (modern,lyrical,jazz,ballet,pointe,hip-hop) • Dance (Irish tap, tap, competitive teams) • 4-year letterman of the Cross-country team • 4-year letterman of the Track Team • 3-year Advocate for the Mock Trial Team • 11-year Girl Scout • Principal roles in High School Musicals and plays • National Honors Society • Church Altar Server and Cantor • The High School Play
