Jordan is interviewed by Wade Tower on the TV31 Morning Edition in Stillwater. Jordan described the six weeks rehearsals to prepare for the Final program competition in Fitness, Talent, Interview, Scholastics, and Self-Expression. She also described the Be Your Best Self mission of America's Juniior Miss, and that she will be making presentations to school children, organizations, and civic clubs around Payne County during the next year.

Jordan presenting the BYBS message to 30 Payne County Girl Scout Troop leaders. At the same meeting Local Chairman, Richard Hawkins, presented a plan to partner with the Payne County troops in the same fashion as AJM did during the this past June's National program, troops adopt a 2010 PCJM contestant, plus their contestant will present the BYBS message to them sometime during their eight weeks of rehearsals.

Public announcements have been made that applications are being accepted for the 2010

Payne County's Junior Miss Scholarship Program. Deadline is December 1, 2008; Orientation is January 4, 2009; First rehearsal, January 11, 2009; Program, March 7, 2009. A 10th anniversay program reception is being planned, where we will invite back over 120 previous contestants and staff.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! Since 2001, through the generous donations of businesses, corporations, and individuals, the PCJM program has awarded $24,000 in cash college scholarships.
