Our 2009 Ohio's Junior Miss is Lauren Gessner, from Canfield. In our competition, her performance earned 4 separate awards, for a total of $6,200.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.

Lauren's achievements include: Salutatorian/Natl. Honor Soc./High Hon. Roll(9-12) • Leads- Musical"The Boy Friend"/Drama"Our Town"(12) • AIFS-Studied French at The Sorbonne-July,2007 • PTO Academics Awards 4.0 Honoree- (11 and 12) • Voted CHS Class of 2008-"Most Talented" • Junior Class Secretary (11) /Student Council (10) • Young Leaders/"Voice of the Future" work published • The National Society of High School Scholars • Who's Who Among American High School Students • OMEA Solo Competition- Superior "I" Rating (9-10)
