Our 2009 New York's Junior Miss is Katie Racitano, from Jamestown. In our competition, her performance earned 4 separate awards, for a total of $4,350.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.

Katie's achievements include: New York State Junior Miss 2008 • Lakewood Area Junior Miss 2008 • Top 5 Academic Class Rank, Number One • National Honor Society, Community Service Award • Technology Academic Scholarship, R.I.T. • Top Honors Spanish Award • Mathematics and Science Award, Air Force/Navy • Outstanding Academic Excellence, President's Award • Elected Class Officer (9-12) • Scholar Athlete (Tennis, Soccer)
