Our 2009 Minnesota's Junior Miss is Brianna Fernholz, from Willmar. In our competition, her performance earned 3 separate awards, for a total of $2,300.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.

Brianna's achievements include: State Competitor and Finalist in Track 3 Times • Section Champion in Track & Field • All-Conference Athlete in Track & Field • Hamline Elite Meet Competitor 2008 in 3 events • 13 years of Dance and performing • Varsity Letter Winner • Track Team MVP 3 years in a row • 'A' Honor Roll • Student of the Month

In addition, Brianna's activities include: 13 yrs. of dance at Colleen's School of Dance • Varsity Track Team • National Honor Society • Accomp. for Church Children's, Bell & Adult Choirs • Member of High School Pep & Marching Band • Top "Cardinal High School Choir • High School Musical performances & choreography • Community Theater performance in "Chicago"
