Our 2009 Illinois' Junior Miss is Heather Siemienas, from Arlington Heights. In our competition, her performance earned 3 separate awards, for a total of $6,150.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.

Heather's achievements include: Graduating with Highest Honors-100% or more GPA • Principal's Honor Roll (all four years) • Lead roles in St. Viator musicals (grade: 11,12) • Award for "Best attitude" in Orchesis • 1st place winner - Irish Idol singing contest • 2nd place winner - Arlington Heights Idol contest • Award for "Outstanding Performance in Religion" • National French Honor Society • Illinois State Scholar • Outstanding Student of America

In addition, Heather's activities include: Saint Viator High School annual musical • Saint Viator High School Orchesis (dance) • Youth Ministry at Our Lady of the Wayside Parish • Cantor at O.L.W. Parish and Saint Viator masses • Arlington Heights Police Department's Peer Jury • Soup Kitchens • Students Against Destructive Decisions • National anthem singer at community/sports events • PADS at Our Lady of the Wayside
