Our 2009 Hawaii's Junior Miss is Trina Hyun, from Honolulu. In our competition, her performance earned 4 separate awards, for a total of $6,000.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.

Trina's achievements include: English Excellence Award, 2006 • English Excellence Award, 2007 • Chemistry Honors Recognition Award, 2006 • Morning Music $1000 Scholarship recipient, 2006 • 2nd place, MTNA HI Senior piano competition, 2005 • 3-time State Qualifier in PFDebate, 2004-2007 • 1st prize PF Debate, KTI Tournament, 2005 • 1st prize PF Debate, Iolani Tournament, 2006 • Quarterfinalist, HSL State tournament, 2006 • Selected commencement speaker of 430-member class
