Thomaston's Junior MIss

Our 2009 Thomaston's Junior MIss is Sara Colley, from Thomaston. In our competition, her performance earned 3 separate awards, for a total of $1,400.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.

Sara's achievements include: National Honor Society • Drama II Highest Scholastic Average Award 2008 • Elected High School Chorus Secretary • Jazz Company Member, Armstrong School of Dance

In addition, Sara's activities include: TeenPact Georgia II, Georgia State Capitol, 2007 • Tri-M, Beta, Key and Drama Club at ULHS • Ballet, Tap, and Jazz, Armstrong School of Dance • Assistant Ballet Instructor, 2006-2008 • Leading/supporting roles in five TUAC dramas • Minor roles in three high school/community plays • Church Praise Team and ULHS Bel Canto Chorus • Equestrian studies. • Horseback Riding Instructor, Blue Fox Farm, Inc. • Exhibitor in Hunter/Jumper horseback riding shows

Our 2009 Upson County's Junior Miss is Carly Gill, from Thomaston. In our competition, her performance earned 6 separate awards, for a total of $1,700.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.

Carly's achievements include: Little Sister Award 2007 Thomaston Upson Jr. Miss • Miss ULHS 2006 - Miss Congeniality and Photogenic • Miss ULHS 2007 -1st runner up and Spirit Award • Citizenship Award - 2007 & 2008 • Student of the Month • I'm An Actress Award • Multiple lead roles • Head anchor for The Morning Knight Report • 2007 Pet Parade winner
