Tuesday, November 16, 2008	2010 Thomaston-Upson Junior Miss Orientation Meeting It's Junior Miss time again! There will be an informational meeting for the Junior Miss Class of 2010 Tuesday night, December 16th at 7 p.m. in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. All girls in the 11th grade are eligible to participate. Come and get more info on this year's Junior Miss, "WTUJM - Twenty Ten All the Time", scheduled for March 21, 2009. Interested girls are encouraged to bring their mother or another adult female with them to the meeting if possible!
Tuesday, December 23, 2008	The deadline to apply as an applicant for the 2010 Thomaston Upson Upson Junior Miss Program is Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Go to www.ajm.org, and select "Join Us" to apply.
Saturday, January 10, 2009	2010 Thomaston-Upson Junior Miss Fitness Clinic All approved contestants should attend this mandatory Junior Miss Fitness Clinic at the Upson Regional Medical Center Wellness Center. The clinic will be held in the aerobics room from 9:00a until 4:00p with a one-hour break for lunch at noon. At 3:00p, each contestant may have one family member or other representative come and videotape the fitness routine so that you can rehearse on your own. Remember that this will be your only opportunity to videotape the routine, so be sure to make the most of the day.

Saturday, January 10, 2009	2010 Thomaston-Upson Junior Miss Little Sister, Escort, and Big Sister Declaration All contestants must e-mail the name, cell number, and e-mail address of your Little Sister, your Escort, and your Big Sister no later than Saturday, January 10, 2009. TBD	2010 Thomaston-Upson Junior Miss Fitness Apparel All contestants will be measured for size so that your fitness routing outfit can be ordered. You will be responsible at this time to pay for any pieces that must be ordered. More info to come...
TBD	2010 Thomaston-Upson Junior Miss Photo Shoot All Junior Miss contestants should meet at the Winter Gardens behind Small World Child Care Center to have head shots made at 4:00pm. Be sure to wear a white top – any tasteful style is acceptable as long as it is solid white. These photos will be used in the program book as well as the newspaper, so be sure to look your very best!
TBD	2010 Thomaston-Upson Junior MISTER Tux Rental Day All Junior “Mister”s will be required to visit Reems Formal Wear to be measured for a tuxedo to be worn during the program throughout the day. We always make every attempt to keep the cost of the rental as affordable as possible. More info to come…
TBD	2010 Thomaston-Upson Junior Miss Interview Clinic All contestants are invited to take advantage of a two-hour interview clinic to be held at the home of Stacye Brown from 10:00am until noon. Topics will include: • How to dress – and NOT to dress - for an interview • How to prepare for an interview • How to successfully answer questions about controversial topics • Lifestyle changes to help you “live” the choices on your registrationforms • Question and answer drills – with your fellow Junior Miss sisters
March 1, 2009	2010 Thomaston-Upson Junior Miss Ad Sales Beginning February 1, 2009, program book ad sales (money, order forms, camera-ready art) should be turned in to Stacye Brown. Meet fifteen minutes before rehearsal just outside dance studio to turn in sales. ALL AD SALES ARE DUE ON OR BEFORE MARCH 1, 2009
March 10, 2009	2010 Thomaston-Upson Junior Miss Signature Pages Completed signature pages and money ($1.00 per signature) must be turned in no later than March 10, 2009 to Stacye Brown.
March 15, 2009	2010 Thomaston-Upson Junior Miss Program DVD Order Order forms and payment for a DVD of the 2010 Thomaston-Upson Junior Miss program will be due on or before March 15, 2009. You will be notified when the DVD is ready for pickup as soon as it is ready – normally a couple of weeks after the program.
TBD	2010 Thomaston-Upson Junior Miss Talent Day All contestants will sign up for a specific 15-minute time slot to meet with your TUJM committee to: • Perform your talent – in costume if possible • Turn in two (2) copies of your talent music, if applicable • Get your talent officially timed • Receive assistance/suggestions for improvement • Show your Self-Expression Gown • Show your opening number outfit
