Laura's year in review.....

 On June 30, 2007, Laura Hornsby from Moody, Alabama was selected as the 2008 St. Clair County Junior Miss. Of the seven categories, she won four taking top honors in Scholastics, Interview, Talent and Be Your Best Self Essay. In addition to $2,250 cash scholarship, she was awarded a two year tuition and fees scholarship from Jefferson State Community College valued at $7,344.

At the State Program, Laura made the citizens of St. Clair County very proud by becoming the first Junior Miss from this county to place as a Top 8 Finalist.  She also won a Self Expression Preliminary.  She earned $700 in scholarship money for winning a Self Expression Preliminary, $1,200 in scholarships for Top 8 Finalist and $750 scholarship from the University of Alabama at Birmingham for a total of $2,650 from the State Program.

Throughout the year, Laura has been an outstanding representative of the St. Clair County Junior Miss Program.  Below is a brief list of her appearances with area businesses, civic organizations, and schools.
