State and Local Program Structure

All interested and qualified young women participate in local Junior Miss programs in their junior or senior year of high school (depending on the timing of their local or state program). After a participant wins her local Junior Miss program, she advances to the state Junior Miss program. All state Junior Misses participate in the National Finals in Mobile, Alabama in June after they graduate from high school.
