Contacting Your Junior Miss

You should receive the name, email address and mailing address of your Junior Miss. Please feel free to contact her before she comes to Mobile to let her know you are cheering for her.

Junior Miss Pages

Each AJM will have their own personal page at www.nbc15online.com with photos, personal info, etc. We would love to include a picture of your troop on her page. Please send your photos to Cassidy@ajm.org and indicate your troop name and which Junior Miss you have adopted. Visit the page of your Junior Miss often to see photographs of her while she is in Mobile!

Photographs

There will be photographs taken at each of the events that your troop will be attending. To view and order a copy of the photographs, visit www.fpvision.com and select America’s Junior Miss.

Gifts

AJM offers gift items for you to purchase as gifts to your Junior Miss.

Photo buttons - Order your personalized photo buttons with a photo of your Junior Miss. Get it at the special Girl Scout Discount.

AJM Merchandise - Visit the AJM store to see special pre-sale items, gift packages and other merchandise.

Flowers & Gifts - Send your Junior Miss flowers from our official florist, The Rose Bud Flowers & Gifts.

Event Details

Arrival Day Ceremony - Monday, June 16, 5:30pm @ Mobile Regional Airport
Bring your posters and help welcome your JM to Mobile! The ceremony should last approximately 20-30 minutes, and your troop will be recognized when your JM is introduced. Immediately following the event, your troop will have the opportunity to meet your JM face to face. Bring her gifts, take photos, and get her autograph!
Helpful Hint: Be sure to refer to your JM by using her state name then “Junior Miss”. (ie Alabama’s Junior Miss). Never use the words “Miss Alabama” – especially on your posters.

Girl Scout T-Shirt Party - Friday, June 20, 11:00am @ Spring Hill Baptist Church Gymnasium
Bring your cameras for a sneak peek of the girls during rehearsals! Then, be there to present your JM with her very own customized t-shirt, made by your troop, and enjoy getting to know her over pizza and coke! Don’t forget to wear a shirt of your own that all of the Junior Misses can autograph!
Note: Community Night tickets will be distributed to troop leaders at this event.
Helpful Hints: Be sure to have all of your troop members sign the t-shirt so your JM can always remember each one of you.

Belair Mall Meet & Greet- Saturday, June 21, 6:00pm @ Belair Mall
Come meet the Junior Misses and get their autographs afterwards. Don’t forget your cameras!

Community Night - Wednesday, June 25, 6:30pm @ Mobile Civic Center Theater
It’s a Sneak Peak of the 51st National Finals. There will be opportunities to watch the Junior Misses perform, learn about the “Has-Beens”, and dance on stage, and you will see Nora Ali, AJM 2007, as she presents the members of Girl Scout Troop 8459 with the Be Your Best Self patch.
