Thank you for being involved with the Adopt a Junior Miss Program! We are excited to have you onboard and we can’t wait to see you at all of the fun events that we have planned. Here is some helpful information that will help make this experience the best ever!
You should receive the name, email address and mailing address of your Junior Miss. Please feel free to contact her before she comes to Mobile to let her know you are cheering for her.
There will be photographs taken at each of the events that your troop will be attending. To view and order a copy of the photographs, visit www.fusionpointmedia.com and cick View Photos. Then look for America's Junior Miss 2010.
AJM offers gift items for you to purchase as gifts to your Junior Miss.
Photo buttons - Order your personalized photo buttons with a photo of your Junior Miss.
AJM Merchandise - Visit the AJM store to see merchandise items for your Junior Miss or send your Junior Miss flowers from our official florist, The Rose Bud Flowers & Gifts.
Bring your posters and help welcome your JM to Mobile! The ceremony should last approximately 20-30 minutes, and your troop will be recognized when your JM is introduced. Immediately following the event, your troop will have the opportunity to meet your JM face to face. Bring her gifts, take photos, and get her autograph!
Helpful Hint: Be sure to refer to your JM by using her state name then “Junior Miss”. (ie Alabama’s Junior Miss). Never use the words “Miss Alabama” – especially on your posters.
Enjoy an exclusive pajama party with your Junior Miss complete with pizza, ice cream and soft drinks. Talk with your Junior Miss about your goals in life and hear from a Suprise Speaker about how she Shoots for the Moon everyday! $5 per admission
Helpful Hint: Be sure to wear t-shirts that represent your troop.
Come meet the Junior Misses and get their autographs afterwards. Don’t forget your cameras!
It’s a Sneak Peak of the 53rd National Finals. There will be opportunities to watch the Junior Misses perform, learn about the “Has-Beens”, and dance on stage, and you will see Michelle Rodgers, AJM 2009, as she presents the members of Girl Scout Troops who have earned the Be Your Best Self patch.
Girl Scouts receive free tickets to Community Night, but additional tickets may be purchased from your local Girl Scout office.
Join us for the 53rd AJM National Finals as the Class of 2010 competes for more than $125,000 in cash scholarships. Tickets may be puchased by mailing the Girl Scout Ticket Form to AJM Headquarters or calling 251.438.3621.
