2011 National Finals Information for Friends and Family

The 54th Distinguished Young Women National Finals will be held in Mobile, Alabama June 23, 24, and 25, 2011. Family and friends should plan to arrive in Mobile on Tuesday, June 21, in order to attend Orientation on Wednesday. Departures will be Sunday, June 26 after the conclusion of the 2011 National Finals events and festivities.

We have fun activities planned for your family and friends to enjoy while in Mobile, and we encourage everyone to participate to get the full Distinguished Young Women experience!  The activity registration includes admission to all attractions, transportation in air-conditioned motor coaches to attractions, and 11 meals from Wednesday through Saturday. Lodging

The Admiral Semmes Hotel serves as the headquarters for Distinguished Young Women families and friends. We have secured a special rate of $109 per night for Distinguished Young Women families, but you must reserve by May 21. To make reservations, please call 251-432-8000. Please specify that you are with Distinguished Young Women to receive this special rate. We will hold one room per family at the Admiral Semmes Hotel until May 21 and you may book additional rooms at the Admiral Semmes Hotel as space permits, or at other hotels, some of which are listed below.

Travel Arrangements

We have a special airport shuttle rate to all host hotels for Distinguished Young Women supporters at $25 per person round-trip. Call Daphney at 800.357.5373 at least two weeks prior to your arrival date and specify that you are with Distinguished Young Women. Kids 12 and under are free.
