Information for Alumnae

The 54th Annual National Finals will be held in Mobile on June 23, 24, & 25, 2011.

Alumnae Events

  • Alumnae Reunion - For the second year, the Alumnae Council will host a Reunion for all past Junior Miss and Distinguished Young Women participants at any level. The reunion will be Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the home of Chris and Jessica King in Mobile.  The cost is $25 per person and includes drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres.  
  • 54th National Finals and After-Party - Join us for the 54th National Preliminaries & Finals on June 23, 24 & 25, and for the After-Finals Party on June 25.
  • Full Alumnae Registration Package - Please click here to view the Alumnae Schedule of Events to see more exciting activities that you can sign up for throughout Final week.

Accomodations

The Hampton Inn/Courtyard Marriott/Fairfield Inn will serve as the headquarters for Distinguished Young Women Registration Package activities with the state and local volunteers. The Hampton Inn, Courtyard Marriott, and Fairfield Inn are located next door to each other.  The group rate will be available June 22nd – June 26, 2011. 

 If you are unable to book rooms at The Hampton Inn/Courtyard Marriott/Fairfield Inn we recommend that you use the hotels listed below.

If you need assistance in making travel arrangements, please contact Springdale Travel at 251-928-0233.

We have a special airport shuttle rate to all host hotels for Distinguished Young Women supporters at $25 per person round-trip. Call Daphne at 800-357-5373 at least two weeks prior to arrival date and specify that you are with Distinguished Young Women.  Kids 12 and under are free
