Kiersten Rickenbach Cerveny
|
Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Kiersten Rickenbach Cerveny won the title of America’s Junior Miss in 1995 and attended Duke University where she earned a Bachelor’s in Biology and minors in Chemistry, Psychology and Dance. She graduated at the top of her class at Tulane University School of Medicine, earning AOA Honors, and completed a Dermatology residency at Louisiana State University. Kiersten started the Dermatology Department at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, where she is currently the Chief of Dermatology, and is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology at Cornell University Medical Center. In 2008, Kiersten visited India where she set up “tent clinics” in underserved rural areas to evaluate and treat patients with HIV/AIDS. Upon returning, she began the first integrated HIV/AIDS Dermatology Clinic at The Brooklyn Hospital. Kiersten lives in Manhattan with her new husband, Andrew, and continues to stay active in the Junior Miss program which she says, “has so touched and influenced my goals, my education, my career and my life!”

Andrew Snyder
|
Early in his career, Andrew Snyder studied voice, music composition, method acting, theater, ballet and jazz. His work with Chicago’s bid for the 2016 Olympic Games included a 2008 concert featuring a 350-member multi-national cast of performing artists at Millennium Park’s Pritzker Pavilion. In 2007, Andrew co-created the Opening Ceremony for the World Boxing Championships. He has worked with artistic entities such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Pilobolus Dance Theater, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Cirque Shanghai. His experience in live events has included work with Harrison Ford, Cuba Gooding, Jr., singer/songwriter Heather Nova, operatic tenor Rodrick Dixon, operatic Mezzo-Soprano Malgorzata Walewska, and Grammy Award-winning composer Paul Sullivan. His corporate work has included ESPN’s Media Upfront (New York), Xerox-Drupa (Germany), IBM’s Golden Circle (Bermuda), McDonald’s President’s Cabinet (U.S.), and the Australian Tourist Commission. Andrew's production company, Andrew Snyder Catalyst, Ltd., has produced a tour of special events across the U.S. for Conservation International, a DC-based, global NGO and is now in pre-production for the North American location of Mexico’s Bicentennial Celebration which will be broadcast internationally on September 15, 2010. He also worked briefly as a swim coach and fitness instructor, and later studied gymnastics, acrobatics, and aerial trapeze. He has volunteered with CircEsteem, a not-for-profit organization building self-esteem by teaching modern circus arts and academic tutoring to young people.

Elizabeth (Betsy) Kelley
|
Elizabeth (Betsy) Kelley is a certified Jazzercise Instructor and Quality Coordinator from South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor's of Administration in Spanish and a Master's in Bilingual Interpreting at the College of Charleston before living abroad for one year to study Spanish at the Universidad de Sevilla in Seville, Spain. Betsy was the Head Coach of the female track team and Assistant Coach of the volleyball team at Andrews High School in Andrews, South Carolina in 2003-2005. She is now a Spanish Interpreter and Paralegal for the Law Office of David H. Berry in Hilton Head. Betsy is one of only six instructors in her district to become a Quality Coordinator for Jazzercise, Inc., a position that allows her to mentor other instructors on how to teach quality classes and to hold workshops for potential Jazzercise instructors. She teaches regular Jazzercise, Body Sculpting, Circuit, Express, specialty classes, and Junior Jazzercise.

Victor K. Wilson
|
Victor Wilson earned a Bachelor’s of Social Work and a Master’s degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education at the University of Georgia. He worked at Northern Arizona University, Agnes Scott College and the University of Georgia before he was appointed to his present position in 2004 as the Executive Vice President for Student Affairs at the College of Charleston. Victor has held leadership positions in several national organizations including the National Orientation Directors Association (NODA) and the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) and has authored A Lesson in Black and White: Top Ten Tips for Black Students at Predominately White Institutions, Incorporating Crisis Planning and Management Into Orientation Programs, and Fostering Interracial Friendships on Campus: Taking it Up a Level. Victor's service and leadership efforts have been recognized with awards/honors such as the President’s Award for Outstanding Service and Contributions to the National Orientation Directors Association and the Outstanding Master’s Graduate Award from UGA’s Student Affairs Administration Program. Victor is a trained vocalist and enjoys listening to music of all types, watching college football, and reading. He balances his work and service activities while enjoying time as a father to his 20-year-old son, Hunter, who is a sophomore and a member of the soccer team at Guilford College.

Abigail Mueller

Abigail Mueller of Abigail Academy is a private life coach and motivational speaker for adolescent women. She coaches young women to look within to discover and celebrate themselves as she guides them to accomplishing their dreams. Abigail presents a Vision Board Workshop (as seen on Oprah & the Secret) to young women who want to make their dreams a reality and creates college campus visits to help young women decide where they want to grow scholastically. Abigail is a proud graduate of Stephens College where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts. In her spare time, Abigail enjoys cooking healthy foods, kayaking, walking, road biking, or anything outdoors with friends and family. She also views her interaction and support of her city as a fun component of her life and is devoted to serving her clients and her community. She has served on the Young Professional Association Board of Directors, the Sacred Heart Academy Alumnae Board, and Louisville Downtown Main Street Association, is the co-founder of the St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church young adult group, and is a partner with The Kappa Delta Sorority and Girls Scouts of America with the national Confidence Coalition.
