For 50 years, America's Junior Miss (AJM) has been building futures for young women. Each year, 50 of the brightest and most talented young women come to the historic port city of Mobile, Alabama for the AJM National Finals.

More than 17,000 volunteers across the country contribute their time and resources to help make a difference, change lives, and make dreams come true for young women in their communities.

Last year was a special year for AJM as we celebrated the 50th Anniversary during the 2007 AJM National Finals.  During the program, past AJMs were featured in a special production number and clips of past programs played on the background screen.  AJM is proud to announce that we awarded more than $150,000 in cash scholarships at the 2007 National Finals.  Click here for a list of scholarship recipients.

The 51st AJM National Finals will be on June 26, 27 and 28, in Mobile, Alabama. Representatives from all 50 states will arrive in Mobile on Monday, June 16, and will spend two weeks rehearsing, making public appearances, participating in community service activities, making new friends, and competing for college scholarships.  They will stay with host families in the Mobile area and work with professional producers and choreographers to prepare for the on-stage competition.
